President Donald Trump briefly mentioned the apparent terror attack near the UK Parliament before sitting down for a Legislative Affairs meeting at the White House on Tuesday.
Trump said they’re “hearing some big news having to do with London. It just happened.”
The president has not issued any other statement and has not yet tweeted about the attack, which has left several people wounded. Press Secretary Sean Spicer told reporters that Trump has been briefed about the London attack and the White House is continuing to monitor the situation.
The U.S. State Department also issued a statement about the incident.
